We live in the longing. That place where there is no truth or falsity to weigh your words. The emotions that well and swell in your heart and chest pass with the rising of the tide and the words that you hold on your tongue turn even the sweetest of moments bitter. We no longer have the ability to communicate plainly because everything around us is filled with back story and secret messages begging to be decoded.
We can’t carry on like this forever. Our chests were built to hold things in not hold things up and this weight is becoming more than we think we can bear.
This is not the life we thought you promised.
